This is a very important aspect of our infrastructure where we invest a great deal of time and money.
With over 35 million lines of confidential data stored for over two thousand clients we have to ensure
that all reasonable measures are in place to protect the data that we are storing on behalf of our clients. We employ
many methods to ensure data security and these include:
Data security in public, private and demilitarised zones is maintained via firewall. Internally user
authorisation and access control is maintained via both MS SQL and MS Active Directory with Group Policy
restrictions.
All systems are carefully selected and configured to ensure acceptable security levels. All are capable
of access control and auditing to a granular IP and/or user access level.
Best practise is followed for firewall protection, anti-virus, remote access, restricted privilege. Access
is restricted via Active Directory and SQL Server to a controlled list of authorised individuals.
All switches, routers, firewalls are monitored for errors and resource usage. Appropriate level of logging
is set for each device, and non-essential services are disabled for internet facing hosts.
Individual access is restricted by Active Directory and SQL Server users table.
Off site backups are taken 7 days per week by off site provider.
We would be prepared to discuss the above in detail should this be required. In addition to the
above measures there are many good practice measures that have been put in place to ensure that all the staff are
aware of the importance of data security. Call us for more details and you are always welcome to come and visit.
See it all for yourself.
